Monthly Sponsorship of Rosie & Dottie
We found Rosie and Dottie in a kill pen in Oklahoma. Rosie appeared to be heavily pregnant and Dottie was a small foal by her side. We rescued them and got them here immediately. They came with 3 of the worst respiratory diseases horses can have. Strangles, equine influenza, and strep. Rosie had severe pneumonia and we feared she wouldn’t make it through the first night. She was indeed not pregnant, and when she arrived to us looked to be around 500lbs less than she was in the kill pen video. Dottie was also only 2 months old.
Their care is very intensive and requires a lot of medication. Thank you so much for considering becoming a monthly sponsor of Rosie and Dottie to help us give them everything they need. We truly could not do this without you.
We love for sponsors to come meet the herd too! Right now we are not open to the public but we are open to sponsors and patreon members.
